P4 2ghz(North 512cache) or Cel 3ghz?

Which one should i use?

im getting a new mobo and new mobo will come with cel 3ghz...

should i keep mine(p4) or use cel 3ghz?

i do websurfings, powerpoints/word/c++/visual basics, and watch movies...

wonder if celeron is that bad.

If the celeron is based on prescott it might edge out the northwood CPU as prescot's architecture tends to perform better then northwood with a reduced cache. Here's an article from waaaay back.

I think you are talking about the Celeron-D 3GHz, and it is faster than the 2GHz Northwood in everything.

well the prescott based celerons have 256k cache and a 533 bus. your northwood 2ghz has a 400 bus. the prescott based celeron will kill it.
