P4 2.8E...compatibility issues.

Is there a website that lists various motherboard compatibilities with this CPU? Specifically will a P4 2.8E work on an Asus P4R800 VM?

I don't know about a website, but have you checked www.asus.com to see what bios you need for that chip/ and or, if that board fully supports the chip?

From Asus's compatibility finder, it looks like you need the 1002 or later BIOS for a 2.8E.
