I'm looking into building a new system & i'm on a budget but if it's gonna be well worth me spending some extra $$$ then i'll do just that.Would perfer not to spend alot more lol.
Anyway here's the combos i've been looking at -
Updated -
Used Intel Pentium 4/ 2.8C GHz 800MHz FSB, 512K Cache, Hyper Threading Technology - Retail - $160
ABIT 865PE Chipset Motherboard for Intel Socket 478 CPU, Model "IS7-E" -RETAIL - $87
Geil Dual Channel 184 Pin 512MB(256MBx2) DDR PC-3200 - Retail - $88
Final Total - $335
AMD Athlon XP 2500+ "Barton", 333 FSB, 512K Cache Processor - Retail - $90
BIOSTAR nForce2 Ultra 400 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket A CPU, Model "M7NCD PRO" -RETAIL - $66
Buffalo Technology 184 Pin 512MB DDR SDRAM PC-3200 w/ Micron Module - OEM - $76

The P4 set is even gonna cost more as i gotta buy a video card for that.If i'm not wrong the biostar board comes with onboad video.
P.S. If there's a even cheap setup i can get please lmk.I'll not be doing anytype of ocing.I just wanna build a nice budget system.I already got the other parts such as hd/cdrw/case etc.
