Have to say im very impressed with my new setup and that i've never had overclocking success like this new Pentium 4 setup. Pent 2.8c running now at 3.24 Ghz and rock stable on stock voltage using 5:4 divider. Paired with 1 gig Corsair 3700 TwinX with 2.75 on vdimm on ASUS P4C800-E deluxe mobo bios 1010. My games are loading insanely fast and SWG never hiccups when moving around planets. Really anxious to see how much higher she will go, along with a new ATi 9800XT to be added real soon. I have no regrets not getting an Athlon 64 right now thats for dang sure, and saved alot of money in the process. Thanks Intel for showing you still have what it takes :D

Congratz and welcome to the forums. It seems like most overclocked P4C's top out at around 3.2ghz air cooled. But there are the lucky ones that run at 3.4ghz+. Nice to hear a success story once in a while hehe.

One of the lucky ones here. Mines at 3.47GHz with stock cooling. Have not been able to get 3.5 yet but I think it will get there with a bit more tweaking.

PC3700 you should be able to run 1:1, it will increase performance alot.

Unfortunatly at 1:1 ratio the PC refuses to work correctly at the 220fsb. I dunno why, but strange things start to happen. Not one to start elaborate experimentation on what was going on I decided to let the PC have its way and go to 5:4 ratio.

Max your Vdimm and try again for 1:1 if that does not work contact Corsair's tech support and have them replace your memory since it is not running at PC3700 speed. Also you did not say what your memory timings were. Try and run them at 2.5-3-3-7.

Corsair will not replace mem thats been put at 1.8 dimm, so I wont' go that far. The modules will not work correctly at those settings, so I have it set at 3-4-4-8. Crap timings, but I am quit honestly tired of swapping out RAM after the HyperX refused to work as well and screwing around with settings. I would just rather enjoy my machine for the time being.

I may try and see what I can get for timings. But from what i've seen, I get more performance on the higher FSB then I do with lower lat timings. Feel free to show me otherwise, but I won't be changing those timings until like christmas after i'm done playing HL2 for awhile.
