Hey Guys,

ASUS P4C800 Deluxe
Corsair XMS PC-3500 2x256mb
P4 2.8Ghz -FSB @ 230 =3.2Ghz

I turned my Memory clock down to 320MHz (DDR=640MHz?)

How much will i have to overclock the FSB to get the memory to run at 400MHz (while it is set at 320)
Is this called 5:4> and is there any easy formula for figuring this out?

ie., 800-640=160 ...160/2=80 ...so 200FSB+80 = 800MHz DDR?
Thanks

P.S. PNY Geforce FX 5600 Ultra OC'd 422Mhz core/844Mhz memory

no no

your memory @ 320 is actually in DDR. the actual clock speed will be 320/2 = 160. thus, 400 mhz would just be 200 mhz for the memory

btw, 800 mhz fsb is 200 mhz quad pumped to 800 mhz

In the bios of your Asus P4c800dl check the dram timings:

266 = 3:2 devider
320 = 5:4 devider
400 = 1:1 devider

Devides cpu:ram clockrates.
