P4 2.8 vs. XP-m 2600+

I read on another forum of a P4 2.4GHz 533fsb 1MB Cache & MBD combo for $110 (no rebates).
The CPU is the 2.4A Prescot.
The post mentioned OC'ing it to 3.24GHz with maybe an 800fsb.

I thought the Prescots ran VERY hot and were not capable of or not recommended for OC'ing.
I thought the 2.8C was the only advisable OC'er.

Would the above deal blow an XP-m 2600+ & NF7-S2 out of the watter?

by 2000 pts w/ a mobile @ 2700 and 1500 pts @ 2600.

Of course they will be about the same with all tests... flip a coin.
