there are probably 50 reviews with benchmarks on the net comparing the two
the 3.0 will be a little faster
but if you are talking about overclocked speeds then i would say they would be about the same
probably better off saving a few bucks and getting the 2.8 unless you got a few extra bucks to spend
generally speaking tho a 2.8 and a 3.0 at default speed with the same memory speeds and bios settings should perform close enough to where someone that was sitting at the computer for the first time would not be able to tell the difference in most games/apps
Save the $40-$50 bucks and get the 2.8c, it is a small OC to get the 2.8 to a 3.0 clock speed but the 2.8c OC'ed would have a higher fsb than a stock 3.0 thus be slightly faster. Put the saved cash towards the disk subsystem, that will give you a better bang for your performance buck.
