i have lost the motherboard.
now i have started to find out the board to the nearest store.
they show me two available boards.

01.
P5KPL-AM/PS
http://www.asus.com/search.asp...m=1&searchkey=p5kpl-cm

02.
P5KPL-CM
http://www.asus.com/search.asp...m=1&searchkey=p5kpl-cm

now my problem is that the dealer told me that these boards will support my processor p4 2..66ghz .
but when i have checked this both boards on asus cpu support page the

http://support.asus.com/cpusup...t.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

they do not describe mt processor under any of these two board.

so does this processor will support any of this board.
dealer and distributor told me that it will support.
while the manufacture's ebsite describe that will not support.

now what to do ?

help me.

thanks a lot.

The asus website is correct about cpu support. Those newer boards won't work, due to the different voltage specs of your older cpu. But newegg sells the asrock 945GCM-S for only $42 plus shipping. Your cpu is supported by this board, along with most newer Intel core2 duos. Only negative is a lack of support for the quad core cpus. I have 2 asrock boards; asrock is an offshoot of asus.
