Any members in Taiwan care to buy a few of these and ship 'em out to others in the USA? I bet you could make a small fortune re-selling these on ebay...

Imagine...a 2.4ES @ 2.7GHz with PC1200 RDRAM...or a 2.4ES @ 3.0GHz with 166MHz DDR...or a 2.4ES @ 3.2GHz with 178MHz DDR.

Then why are 2.4GHz 533MHz FSB P4's not going to be available en masse in the U.S. for another 3 months is what I wanna know.....

I just had a talk with Mike Magee over at the Inquirer....he said the new 2.4 and 2.2ES (ES = 533FSB) processors have been selling in Japan this past week as well. He has a news item on the subject..

Those CPU's would be damn expensive! The 2.2 100 MHz fsb costs a ton right now; it's much more feasible to buy a 1.8A and O/C it to 2.2-2.4 GHz. The 2.4's would probably be 3X more espensive than a 1.8A.

Still, I know not everyone likes to O/C and CPU's running stock are more stable/last longer; just my $0.02

I have a 2.4ghz 533fsb right now!!!! ofcourse I spent 200 bucks for it and it is an oc'd 1.8a....

I need to couple this with a sis board and take advanatge of 333dr bandwidth....

Will 400ddr work in pc2700 boards or are we likely to need new board for that????
