P4 2.4C or 3.0E?

Is the P4 2.4C or 3.0E better for overclocking?

Motherboard is an Abit IS7-E. Memory is just Kingston PC3200 value (I know it may suck).

Most definitely the 3.0E. You should easily reach 3.5~3.6 with air cooling. I have seen people hit 3.7 up to 4 ghz on air with added vcore. If you get a really good 2.4C I would say 3.3~3.4 is max, and again that is with a really good chip.

yeah, 3.0e is definatly better for overclock, since the average 2.4c will have it's max overclock at just over 3ghz anway. Should be able to hit 3.4-3.6 fairly easily with a 3.0e.
