P4 2.4b with 256mb rdram 1066 or p4 2.66 with 640mb ddr 2700

Wich is " faster", I know that is a generic term but what do you guys think?

They are both Dell's with the 9700tx the one with rdram is the 8250 and the ddr is 4550.

I will tell you that 256 of RDRAM wasn't enough for my system so I upped it to 512. I would recommend DDR to you because you get a faster processor with that dell system, you also get upgradeability. RDRAM I am afraid is not going to be around much longer, and I don't know if you are aware of how RDRAM works but it needs pairs to perform(or a shunt(stay away)). I am happy with my RDRAM, but in retrospect I should have waited till p4's could use DDR.

edit: also, don't call people idiots in a thread you started that was supposed to be in a different forum.

I was thinking the same thing about the ram, rdram is $200 and ddr is $70 for 512mb, and the "pairs" kinda suck because if you want to upgrade you have to plan it out a bit.

BTW I never called anyone an idiot that would be uncalled for idjit is the term I used.
