p4 2.4 / ecs mobo problem

I just bought these newly combo at frys today to replace my p4 1.5. Here is the problem,it doesn't go to bio at all. I just don't know why. Everthing powerup, the videocard is plug in properly in the agp card. The monitor does get a signal from the videocard. I try many time it just don't go to bio, just black screen. The weird about the mobo is that it doesn't have a p4 connector 4 pin. Is the jumper the problem? I will have to return it back and get the xp +2200 / abratron mobo instead.

check your RAM, also make sure u do a nice clean CMOS clear. However, fo no boots its usually the RAM check to make sure its compatible. My A7N8X HATED HATED HATED geil ram, got some corsair and it ran great.
