I'm not familiar with the board myself, but from what I've heard/read it generally doesnt like higher than 800fsb, and lacks many of the needed tweaks/voltage adjustments etc needed for overclocking. Plus the lack of dual channel would really hold back anyone pushing for maximum performance, still a good starter board till you can afford a better one, and can always be kept for a backup after upgrading. I run 2 systems and now keep a 3rd mobo/cpu ready just in case 1 goes down so my downtime is limited.
