P4 2.4 533 to P4 3.06 533 HT Upgrade worth it?

I want to upgrade my Dell 8250 while I can still get some money for my old chip. Will I see a noticable speed increase for everday use, web, office, the occasional game with the 3.06 HT vs my current 2.4 non HT? I am limited to th 533 processors on this board.
 
Yes you should see a noticiable diff. I have 2 systems p4b533e w/ 3.06 oc'd to 3.34 w/ 1 gig of ram.
Progs. did run faster etc.

That being said you do know that you could get for about $300 a Asus p4p800 mobo /w a 2.6C processor & 512mb of pc3200 ddr.

this would be a 800fsb system & you could add 10k rpm "Raptors" to this system, something to think about.

Unless you're going to upgrade to the new C Chips with 800MHZ FSB and a Dual-Channel Platform, I wouldn't spend the money. Save up for a more noticeable upgrade.
 
Okay man, assuming you haven't given up on upgrading here is the link to all of the P4 processor cores. I agree, though, that you aren't talking about much of an upgrade for the amount of money it would require.
