P4 2.0 vs Core 2 Duo 2.4 power use . . .

I found a PSU calculator, and it has the northwood p4 2ghz at 10 watts less, and the williamette core p4 2ghz at 10 watts more.

In either case, it's so much faster the cores probably won't need to run at full loading so the net effect is that it will save power all round for what you currently use anyway.
