It looks so far like I may have to keep the 1.8A and sell the 1.6A (not a long time relationship / only 2 weeks).

I am still testing the 1.8A but this is what I have so far:

All these are confirmed stable with a minimum of 3 hours Prime95. 1.6A will boot 166fsb but I get prime95 error so needs 1.70 -1.75v and the memory would still be slower than 145fsb with the 3:4 setting. Cas2.5-3-6-3 for 150fsb @ 3:4

i feel like i just found a double barrel shotgun cause i have the urge to say "YEA BABY" -sam

your 1.8A @ 2.69g 150fsb puts out the same cpu scores +/- as my 1.6A @ 166fsb ....but leaves you at a much better place to run a 3:4 400ddr. id be extreamly interested in how this all comes together with some 3dmark2001 scores? hmm ok not on that vid card 😉

gonna need a test to see how well that 2.69ghz 400ddr works together.
anyone have any suggestions?
a comparison vs a 1.6A @ 166fsb is inevidable 😀

awesome work - thx 🙂

Thugsrook - Now you wouldn't make fun would you. 🙂

Why o Why do you think that I did not post the 3D Mark 2001SE scores.

I really don't want anyone to LOLROF and end up with needing mouth to mouth. 😛

jhites ~ those (other) guys used to rip on me, and i had a gf3! 😉
vid card teasin is legal - sorry 😛

we shall find a way to test system vs system w/o the use of video - somehow! 🙂

worst comes to worst we will send someone over to your house with a gf4 to test out 😉

Get some quality pc3200 stuff and push that fsb up to you get 1.65-1.7v and then leave it....Likely you will hit 2.8ghz....

Obviously the 1.8a is the winner for many reason...

Welcome aboard!
Good luck!
I plan to push my 004 1.8 to 150 Mhz fsb too, hell I think it might even go to 166 Mhz fsb. we will see
