THE CHEAPEST I FOUND ON PRICEWATCH IS $127 GOOGLEGEARS
BTW...GETTING THIS PROCESSOR TO 2.5GHz+ NEED AT LEAST WATER COOLING
AND AS YOU ALL MIGHT NOTICE THIS ARE JUST BARELY STABLE TO RUN THE PROGRAM WCPUID.
I BET THEY CAN'T EVEN SURF THE WEB AT THAT SPEED.
AND YOU PROBABLY NEED TO SPEND $200 MORE FOR A COOLING SYSTEM...LIKE THE LIQUID N2 COOLING @ -180 DEGREES

These guys do a lot of work to get those chips that fast.
Just about every one of them uses a "modified" motherboard to allow them to pump more current to the chips.

<< 3.6GHZ with 2.2V, he is frying his CPU. >>

You think they care, if they are running LN2 and modifying MB's to get them that fast?

I think it's impressive as hell, even if they can't run long term that way.
Over double the rated clock speed 1.6 @ 3.8, 3.9, 4.0......

Don't you all remember the famous Cel 366? I've had mine running at 550 forever & that's centuries old in tech time! so I can't see how 1.6@3.6 is so out of the ordinary. With technology these days, it should at least overclock better than the 366, am I missing something?
