Thanks for the info

Not to discourage you but, a P3-850 100fsb 128meg/ram is doing 4:51:36 through 10 wu's so far. I was really hoping for better times out of the P4's :(

Are you guys using the CLI version or the GUI?

Using the V3.0 GUI, I can get a WU in about 4hrs 15mins to 5hrs for the real long ones. This is on a P3 933@1050Mhz. My friend with a P3 1000@1050 seems to get about the same times as me, so I don't think our rigs are "slow." V3.03 got about 8hrs 45mins to almost 10hrs for the real long ones.

Oh yea, CL is 2,2,2 7/9 @ 150Mhz FSB. This is all on an Asus CUSL2 board.

So are my times off, or about right?

I have a P-IV 1.4 GHz that I ran about 20 units through, using S@H version 3.0 - it's average was less than 3 hours based on those 10 units processed.

The shortest processed time for a WU was about 2.4 and the longest was around 3.6 hours, IIRC.

For comparision my P-III 1GHz has run through about 100 WU in a average time of 4.1 hours, using S@H version 3.0.

The version 3.0 I used was the Command-Line version, not the GUI.

Now that we have the versions, the results from LANMANand Escalade sound correct. I am glad to see that the P4 does a WU in about 4 hours with version 3.03.

Lanman: Can you tell us what the Angle-Range was for the WU's you ran and what OS you use?

The OS was Windows 2000 Pro; I didn't have the angle available during the inital run, but I will post it on the next run to see if the times change.

Thanks.
