each motherboard is a little different from each other, even the same brand MoBo's. Some overclock real well, some won't too save their life. I have built a few systems with Tyan Trinity 400 mobo's. I had one that would run my P3 550 at 733 with no problems (default voltage since this board has no voltage adjustments). I had another one that would only run the same CPU at 633mhz. THe las one I built would not post at anything other than 550mhz.
This same CPU will only do 733 stable on my P3V4X at 1.75v where it did it stable at 1.6 on the first Tyan board. I also have a Celeron 366 that will run on a 85mhz bus on an old attrend board at default voltage. I cannot get it to even post on my P3V4X at 85mhz.
One last thing, it may be a video card or another card/drive holding you back (unless everything is the same components that were used on your other mobo.
