P3V4X + pre-tested PIII 700e@933? Any compatability issues?

Ok.....I've got some Christmas cash burning a hole in my pocket and it's waaay past time to retire my aging 300a@450! I'm thinking about going with a pre-tested PIII 700e@933(FC-PGA). Any other "bang for the buck" CPU suggestions/recommendations? Anybody having any problems overclocking this CPU on the P3V4X m/b? Which slot adaper works best with this combo? MSI, Asus or Abit? Can anyone recommend a vendor to purchase a pre-tested O/C CPU? Minotaur sells this cpu for $202 less S&H. Don't laugh!!! Here's my setup:

300a@450 (2.3v)
Asus P3V4X (1005)
128MB Samsung G8 (cas3@133)
Asus V7700 GF2 GTS
MX300
3COM/USR WinModem
300watt p/s
Win98SE

I think you've got a good idea here. Go for the MSI 2.3 slocket, it's the best. I'm not acquainted with your mobo so I won't comment on it (it should be fine).

Who to buy from? Try www.outsideloop.com and e-mail Bill, he'll set you up. Alternatively, Compuwiz1 and Bonkers325 in this forum sell pretested CPU's

acroig, thanks for the feedback! I emailed Bill at OutsideLoop Computers and he answered a dozen questions for me. Quick reply and very professional! I think I'm going to go with the PIII 700e@933/G Orb with an ASUS slotket. All for a little over $200 bucks! Now that's a good deal on an upgrade! Thanks for the tip!!!
