I have a new motherboard and tried 2 new ps/2 keyboards and they light up for one second and will not work. Any suggestions?
 
Sounds like you may have a poor connection on the mobo socket. Try and tighten up the pins on the mobo if you can. If that doesn't work, try and get a RMA from Asus and return it.
