I like mine too, but I can think of other boards that would be better for other applications. "Best" depends on the application.

"Best" depends on what you want it for. The P3V4X was a great board but there were ways in which other boards were better.

<<P3V4X is the best slot1 motherboard.>>

Its obsolete anyway, lets lay off the garbage talk, though I still believe the MSI BX Master is the best Slot1.

For starters, MSI has an extra IDE ATA66 controller, not that it makes a difference anyway, AGP4x has at most 2% performance increase over AGP2x, and finally a high quality BX board like the BX Master will run 133MHz with little problems.

You'll just be running in to a wall if you're trying to convince people that the VIA133A boards are superior to BX.

Both the ASUS P3V4X and the P3B-F are excellent boards.

I am sure your p34vx is nice. But I think the soyo 6ba+iv or +100(raid) are great also. The BX chipset memory management out performs the via 133 every time. Plus the soyo has ata66, ata100, or raid options, and 4 IDE's for up to 8 drives.

AGP 2x or 4x difference is next to nothing.
