P3V4X Hard Drive Problem

I just put in a new Asus P3V4X motherboard. Its boots and everything, i can get to the bios and the OS select screen. When i try to boot Win2k, it gets about 1/2 way loaded then i get an error screen that basically says Stop: Inaccessable Boot Drive, remove any newly installed hard drives / controllers, check for integrity, blah blah blah. I've done everything short of putting the old motherboard back in to try to get it to work. Anyone have any ideas? I really really do not want to reinstall win2k, but its lookin like my only option right about now 🙁 Any help would be greatly appreciated.
