I recently went to Radio Shack to pickup a few things and noticed a had a Nidec Fan onsale for $5. SO I went ahead and bought it. I have already put an heatsink on the clock generator so I figured I would run some air over it to cool it a little more. Well it works. I am now able to run my 650 @ 1007 and is stable only in windows (so far). I thing I have noticed is everytime I let my computer set over a period of time it will lockup. No matter if it is running at 650 or 1007. If I am working on the computer it is just fine. It just started doing this when I installed this Nidec fan. I do not have the slightest idea.

I am not sure if this applies to you because I have an Athlon system, but I recently switched my YS Tech fans on the heatsink with some Delta's...you know the ones that sound like jets. They were three pin so I connected them to the mobo. From that point on, my system became wicked unstable. I figured out that it was the fans drawing too much power from the mobo. I put the YS Tech's back on and problem solved. I hope this helps...
