p35's going away

was just cruising through newegg and noticed that, for the first time ever, ip35 pro is oos. so is ds4 rev2.0 AND ds3L. with all the good p35's disappearing, p45 can't get here fast enough imho.

If the P45 can fill the P35's price bracket then there is no reason to be buying the 'older' P35.

From the link provided....looks like EOL for P35 is December. Just like BM stores, e-tailers need to restock as well which explains OSS now and again😉

Should be some nice deals on P35 mobos this summer as vendors make room for newer chipsets.

Was the P35 replaced by the EP35 or something? Because that's what the DS3L's listing is telling me on Newegg...

EP35 is just the newer revision P35 isn't it? Like out of the box updated BIOS for Wolfdale support etc.

Um, gigabyte updated their entire product line to EP35 so that they can market their energy saving. There's no major differences in the boards besides being rev 2.1. If you took a real look, you'd see there are over 40 P35's available.
