One of the last peices of the pie is still missing. I've read many of the P35-DDR3 roundup articles and they all nitpick on the layouts of almost every board - ATA controller is too close to lower HD cages, ATA controller is laid on its side which causes difficulty with lower HD cages, GTX's block the use of SATA controllers, placement of PCI express x16 slot causes long cards to interfere with latch mechanisms of memory slots, etc.
My setup - Corsair HX620 powering a GTX8800 w/ HR-03 Plus (blocking multiple PCIe slots) housed in an Antec P182. As many of you know that would leave me the ability to only use my lower HD cage (which is fine since I'll only be running 2 HD's). I'll be using 1 PATA hd, 1 SATA hd, and 1 SATA DVDRW.
With those specs, which motherboard offers the best layout compromise? I'm thinking it's the Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R.
