are there any p35/ich9r motherboards w/ 3 PCIe x16 slots?

i've only seen boards w/ 2 PCIe slots that run electrically x16/x4, and the second slot doesn't function until crossfire is enabled. say i decide to forgo crossfire and use my x1950 for physics processing would i be able to just plug it in and voila! or not?

Probably not if they say it will not function until crossfire is enabled.... This is one of the reasons why I don't like the P35 chipset. Way too few PCI-E lanes. Heck, now that devices are finally starting to use the PCI-E bus instead of PCI, anything that has less then 32-48 available PCI-E lanes seems to be a bad purchase decision.

I wouldn't bet on being able to use your X1950 for physics processing either.
