I will be constructing a new high end system with the q6600 and a single 8800 gts 320 and tv tuner cards. I will be running vista. Is the Gigabyte ds3r a good or great board for this selection. Any other suggestions..........

I have owned the board for 1 week. It came installed with the F3 bios whic was very nice. This board is already rock stable even though it was just released. I was able to OC my e4300 to 3ghz in a matter of minutes. My system is blazing fast! There is no lag in doing anything. I couldn't be happier. To answer your question, this is a great board.

I upgraded fom an Asus A8N-SLI deluxe which took several bios updates to get running stable. This Gigabyte board in comparison has been a breath of fresh air.

I am using Crucial Ballstix PC2-6400 which runs perfectly at its specified 4-4-4-12 timings and voltage. This ram is really overkill for my e4300 but it will give me some future upgrade flexibility. I will be able to OC it to 1066 levels very easily.
