I'm thinking about getting the Asus P5K-Dlx, which supports eSATA. I was reading the early P35 review on Anantech and I think that it implied that the eSATA ports would be capable of port multiplying. I'm not sure if that is a standard feature of eSATA, but some boards have eSATA ports but don't actually have native eSATA support...
So, if I had an external RAID enclosure with port multiplying, thus connecting to the computer via one eSATA cable, would port multiplying work, or would I have to get an eSATA controller card?
If my question doesn't make sense, please let me know...
Thanks!
