P3 Tualitin cpu's on a CUSL-2?

I was reading somewhere about the specs and limitations of my CUSL-2, and I seem to remember 933 as being the top cpu speed this board will handle.

I was thinking about getting a .13 cpu, especially now that the 512 k L2 cache ones have come out. But I don't know if my board will handle it. Can anyone tell me?

Thanks.

I think there is differences otherwise, Asus wouldn't have come out with another newer types all similar compatible for Tualatin TUSL-2 board instead of just updating it's CUSL-2 BIOs.

The Asus TUSL2 supports both PIII CuMine and the PIII Tualatin. CUSL2 will only support PIII CuMine. While the socket 370 is the same, certain pins on the TUSL2 effect the detection and voltage for the Tualatin chip.

I own both and both are stable and reliable in all respects. If you are going to buy one get the TUSL2 or TUSL2-C. The TUSL2-C does not have the on board audio feature.

But has Asus fixed the problem with non-adjustable core voltage on the Tualatin motherboard? Supposedly they came up with a BIOS update but some people was saying it isn't working right.

If you are going the TUSL2 route, I would wait for a later revision board to be safe.

The latest BIOS for the TUSL2 and TUSL2-C, have fully functional VCore adjustments for the Tualatin processor.
