Ouch, that seems too hot. I run RC5 and only see about 111 F when the room is about 85 F. You might want to get a better fan and/or heatsink. I usually run around 100 F when the room is cooler.

Those are high temps for a p3 but you could run 10C more then you would run into stability problems. What heatsink are you running? A FOP32 would be good to cool your p3 800. It's cheap too.:)

Factory hs/fan? Well, there ya go.

2CoolTek and Millisec are my favorite places for your cooling needs. Be sure you have enough air flow through your case, too.

As for hs/fans, the Alpha PAL-6035 is my personal favorite for the P3. You might want to steer clear of the Delta fan, though. It's real loud, and going from that to a YS Tech fan didn't hurt my cpu temps any.

You were probably looking for somewhere to pick up the hs/fan and sound card in one shot. Sorry, but I don't have any suggestions for stores that carry both.

hmm.. wingz.. instead of getting a brand new HSF, would a case fan do me good?

i dont have one :(... plus those are much cheaper..

I think a case fan would help, but i strongly recommend a new hsf, i second the notion for the alpha pal-6035, i idle at 77, 1 @ 1.2 piii...i have an 80mm delta on it though...

But your cpu fan cannot keep temps below 100F, if the case temp is 100F. So, you really need both, but I'd start with good airflow through the case. And make sure you keep everything inside clean. A filter for the intake fan is not a bad idea at all.
