i just purchased a p3 800 and was attempting to overclock it
i can go up to 120 mhz bus @1.7v but if i try anything like 125 or more, it doesnt post
could it be a bad cpu for overclocking or should i just keep it
its running at 920mhz right now
before i had a p3 500 which i ran at 685mhz
5*137

my memory is all pc133 and my motherboard is an ABIT SL6
i was also told it might be my motherboard cause it uses the intel 815 chipset
please help out
thanks :)

it was running at 115
the ratio of cpu:ram:agp was 4:4:1
at least i think thel ast number is ram

i went ahead and returned the cpu and ordered a 700 instead
hopefully i can get better oc with it
cause i want the higher bus speed :)
