i'm looking at getting a new motherboard and stick of memory. i'll be using a p3-800 that i have been successfully running at 1064 (from a 100mhz fsb to a 133fsb) on an abit bf6 (i think...)
at any rate, kicking it up to 150 won't even let the bios load! i'm using a golden orb cooler, and would like to aim for a 150 Mhz fsb.
here is what i'm currently using:
p3-800
abit bf6 (i think... i could be off on a letter or 2 here, heehee!)
creative annihilator 2 (currently at 240/360)
creative sb live platinum
micron cas2 pc133 256meg
adaptec 2930u w/ sony scsi 8x burner, plextor 40x reader
3com 3c905c-tx nic
any suggestions for a mb/memory combo? please include any drawbacks taht you know about like crackling sounds w/ my sound card and a chipset or anything like that if you know of any.
