P3, DVD, 14.1 TFT at OD $899 if you can find one

Did a search here and didn't find this but my local OD had the above referenced notebook for that price, but were sold out. I had one of employees (nice guy) check the computer for most of South Carolina, but no go. But in checking, I did notice that the price was $899 at all of those places, so it wasn't just local to my store.

I called my local Portland, Oregon Office Depot and they don't show your SKU as being a valid number.

It's either an HP, Compaq, or a Toshiba, as those are the only brands that OD sells (unless you count eMachines, but those eSlates are long gone).

So yeah, a little less vague description would help!

Heres some help (pulled from OD website):

NTBK,CQXL145,PIII-500/64/

Anyone familiar with model #s can probably decipher what brand it is, I would guess the CQXL145 is a model # or abbreviation of model #...looks like its a 500mhz PIII with 64 meg...

My guess is that it's a Compaq (CQ), and I know that OD has been clearing some of their Compaq models.

good luck, these wont be found anywhere. OD hasnt had this item around in a while. There might be a few left in the national system, but not many at all. It is a compaq BTW. Nice find though
