P3 CuMine at 1.8V default?

I bought a P3 1.1 (100FSB), which is a CuMine core, and all markings, etc suggest it should operate at 1.75 volts but when I plugged it into my Asus TUSL2-C mobo it looked to start at 1.8 volts automatically (autodetect I guess). It runs, sure, but what sort of damage is likely? Should I manually go into the bios and set the vcore lower?

It should be fine running at that voltage as long as it is a CuMine core. The thing you need to check is the temp on the cpu. Just make sure the temp under load stays below about 45c. If the temp gets up around 50c, you may shorten the life of the cpu.
