Hey guys!

alright anyone know a fix for this? or at least knows whats going on?
Either one of these two things will happen to Win2k if I overclock my P3 any higher than 910.
1. Mouse pointer does not appear on bootup.
2. My desktop icons disappear.
Any idea what's going on? I can run 3d Mark fine and it seems stable but the missing desktop icons bug me. I've got an Asus P3V4X, 2 x 256MB Crucial PC133 CL2, Golden Orb. Current running stable at 910 at 1.75V.

Perhaps you may want to increase the VCore just a little bit more to 1.80 volts?

Do you have a heatsink on the ICS clock generator on the motherboard? It's a rectangular chip located at the bottom of the DIMM slots. This clock generator gets very hot, and it has been found to stabilise an overclock if you place a heatsink on this chip.

Hmmmm... I'll probably look into putting that HS on. But I don't see why my desktop icons just disappear. Other programs seem to run just fine.
