p3 850 with a tekram p6b40-a4x work?

Im upgrading my brothers computer currently a celeron 466. it's a bx chipset and the multiplier onboard goes to 8. And the 850 part i found are 100 mhz bus. Anyone tried newer p3 with this motherboard?

And i will change the slotket to a fcpga as well. what kind should I get?
