I just changed my mobo from BE6-2 to CUSL2, starting to feel that I made a bad move.
My 700E did 933 no problem with be6-2.
With CUSL2, i did 133-133-33 133-100-33, even tried lower settings like 125 FSB but nothing.
My ram is pc133(3-3-3), video card voodoo 3500, sound blaster live value.
I've tried voltage from default to 1.85, still nothing .
I'm wondering if the's AGP setting because sometimes during initial booting(very first screen where it says Voodoo 3500 AGP 16mb BIOS ...) the letters are all scrambled messed up.
I got Alpha PEP doing to cooling.
Any help?

More than likely it does not like your ram... Might try some different ram if avail... Also yes try the last ram slot if you have a 128 meg module...

I have the same setup and get 1000+ out of it, sounds like your vid card is screwy?

DOH!!! did not see the part about the video being courpt but one more thing to try would be taking the SB live out for the moment... And in answer to ram in the last slot question... a trick I read about on CUSL2.com (did nothing for me) but I really have no need...

P3 700e @1000 or 1050mhz 1.65
CUSL2 1001.a (seems to still be the most stable...)

Umm, I am not sure if the colt boot bug has been fixed yet or what. I am no professional on the bug but in my knowledge, I have heard that sometimes the cusl2 doesn't like overclocking and you have to climb your way up to the speed. Go up in small increments.

You increase Volt in Motherboard. You not only overclock 933 Mhz(FSB 133) but also 1120MHZ with FSB 160Mhz.

hoatranquang- what are you talking about? are you guaranteeing him a better overclock?

mystere79- you try climbing you way up yet? With the cold boot bug, dont turn you comp off and on, just use the restart option in windows. A full power down is what enflames the cold boot bug.
