I have been poking around in the forsale furum for allmost a year now and everytime I see someone selling a few cpus and some of them have been tested overclocked and then they say the other ones for sale have not been tested I find this really hard to beleave. maybe some of them are telling the truth but who knows?? If a guy test cpus for overclocking why would he put one up forsale he SAYs he didnt test I think cause its the one that didnt overclock very well. I have seen this so many times and and wasnt willing to take the RISK.

It could happen, this is another good reason to trade with a well established trader like Compuwiz, when he sells chips he tells you up front it'll do 933, or this one won't go over 875.

Exactly what osage said. When I post most of my PIIIs for sale here, it is because they did NOT do 933. Rarely do I post any guaranteed chips for sale, because most longtime forum members know who I am and where to go if they need one. Personally, I wouldn't believe that a person who sells overclocked cpus would sell it as untested, as they are worth more, tested (if they do the dance). Chances are, you'll not get the results you're looking for from such a chip.
