hi everyone,
I finally installed the 133fb 1ghz P3 on my P3B-F,it works like a charm, i only had to set the bus speed to 133mhz in the bios. And to top it all off ,i tried running it a 140mhz and 150mhz bus speeds and it works!!. So i have a 1125 mhz P3 running with the stock heatsink and not voltage increase(150mhz*7.5).Cool!
Thanks to all the people in this forum who helped me out in going ahead with trying the 1ghz on this board.
regards

P.S : the processor is running at 41 degrees @1125mhz ,stock intel heatsink with thermal pad.

I have a P3B-F, albeit an older one. Did you need a special rev of the board or bios to be able to do this?
I would love to keep the mobo rather than buying a CUSL2C.
Thanks in advance

That's sweet, I was gonna do that (buy the 1ghz for my P3B-F) but I went with a 1.2ghz T-bird.

Best of Luck

Wow are you using an AGP video card? If so which one? That's amazing tolerance for a board without AGP voltage tweaks.

My machine is:
P3B-F rev 1.03 ,bios version 1007.001 beta
P3 1ghz@1125mhz (150mhz * 7.5)
128MB PC 133 RAM
Visiontek GeForce 2 32MB DDR
Seagte Barracuda 30GB
Samsung 8GB HDD
40x CD-ROM
4x 4x 24x HP 8200 CD-RW
SB live value

All of the above are running fine on a 250w power supply, which amazes me.Add to it great stability even at a bus speed of 150mhz without any tweaks and the regular heatsink, and i still call it a miracle.
My 3D Mark 2000 scores are now about 7450-7500.I guess i am really lucky that the geforce 2is taking the 100mhz agp bus.

Boy am i lucky.

officially you need m/board revision 1.03 or higher to natively support the coppermine! :)
