Hi,
I am using an P3B-F with the 1007.1 bios.I would like to know if i could use the P3 1ghz (133FSB) on this board,I have a FCPGA slocket and 133mhz RAM already.I guess the clock multiplier should not be a problem too.My main concerns are about the cpu voltage and the AGP slot.
My machine config is:
P3B-F
Celeron 400mhz
128MB PC133 RAM
30GB Seagate Barracuda ATA2
Visiontek Geforce 2
SB Live value

If someone has tried using the 1 ghz on this board ,please let me know.Any info or suggestions appreciated.
Thanks,
hemant

it's possible on version 1.03 & over m/boards.
be aware that at 133fsb you will be running your AGP slot at 89MHz so ensure that your videocard can handle it. that board has a 1/4 pci divider at 133fsb so that your pci speed will remain in spec! :)

thanks for the info, much obliged.
Well according to anands bx 133 video guide, the gforce 2 should take 89mhz with SBA off.So that should not be a problem.
Are you using the same board?

with video cards after the GeForce, almost all would surivive 133mhz FSB on a BX board. I know for a fact that my TNT2 did on my BX when i had it with my 500 oc'ed to 667. My Radeon accepted the 133mhz FSB too. If you have any more questions, just ask. I'm using the Asus P3B-F with the 1008 Beta Bios right now.
