When I think about the age group that does the most illegal p2p and current trends in popular culture... I am not surprised. It's all hip hop with some watered down hip/pop thrown in.

Pretty much, its not a bunch of 50 year olds with 6 figure salaries, its kids with no real income and no real lives.

Also, America doesnt pirate nearly as much as most Asian and Eastern European countries, so its hard to tell why any one particular thing would be pirated a lot. The first line in the linked article:

is completely wrong.
