Question P2P cutting off picture on 32:9

Hello,

A client got a Phillips 32:9 monitor so they could see their mac and PC side by side. They have older computers that won't do 4K. Currently the two computers won't fill the display - seems like it is cutting off the bottom part of the picture. Any guess as what their options are to get this to look correct? I have not been at their location and don't have any 32:9 monitors myself.
