I believe there some passthrough slots to run cables in the deadspace behind the MB tray and external fan speed control. Is this available in store for this price as well?

Not much, if its the new P180. I remember there was a lot of confusion because there is a P180 revision and people thought Antec was sending P182s in them. By now I would imagine all of them are the newer revision too.

IIRC, the only real difference now is the colors you can buy them at. The P180 comes in certain colors and the P182 comes in others.

I hope its available in store as I'm gonna go pick one up this weekend.

There is an option in shipping for in-store pickup so I would say yes to in store also.

Course calling would be best for those of us that are close to a store.

Theres not much difference between the 180 and 182. Like the other person said a few more pass thru areas and an external fan controller in the 182.

If theres an 180 for a really good deal, I wouldn't pass that one up either. I do like the color of the 182 better.

I got in on the P180B deal a few weeks back.
The case I received is essentially the same thing as a P182 (wire management, holes in the back for tubing, etc), except in black.

decent case, was very tempted to pick one up in store last week but I couldn't justify it seeing as how I already have an older p180 and would hate getting another one because they're just too big/bulky/heavy for their size (IMO)

I'll take the heavy, high quality case over a lighter poor quality case any day! I don't move my full tower case more than once a year or longer anyway. That's what laptops are for. ;)

I have the P180b and highly recommend it!

I have the P180 and recommend it, except with a full size motherboard the power supply's cables get very cramped near the last PCI port.

How come you only see the top vent in some of the pictures? Is it something you can set up as an option?

I'm also curious about the MB configuration. I see 7 slots, and I think cases usually have 6 (Edit: My mistake, they have 7). I usually run a 5 PCI slot ATX mobo and one of the cards is a MyHD HDTV card that has an optional daughterboard that is attached to it. The daughterboard needs slot access for cables but doesn't actually seat into a mobo PCI slot, but sits over one (or in the case of one mobo I had, a CNR riser slot). However, in my current case/mobo, it takes up one of the PCI slots (i.e. the MyHD 120 card fits into PCI slot 4 and the daughterboard sits over PCI slot 5). I'm wondering if with this case and a 5 PCI slot ATX mobo, it would be possible to have the MyHD card in PCI slot 5 and the attached daughterboard not sit over a PCI slot but still have cable access (i.e. to the last of those 7 rear access slots). Does anyone know?

I'm making a little road trip on Thursday, and probably going to be near a Microcenter store (from Berkeley down to Milpitas along I880).

Just to clear this up.....almost every case, mid-tower or bigger, has 7 slots. I've got a few cases here, 2 Gigabyte, 2 Cooler Master, an Antec, a Lian-Li...all mid-tower or bigger....and all have 7 slots.

The only one I have that has fewer is an HTPC case made for micro-ATX boards.

I think it's standard for 7 slots on cases that take standard sized ATX boards.

OK, my mistake. Both my cases have 7 slots. In fact, one MB has an AGP and 6 PCI slots, the other an AGP and 5 PCI slots. The daughterboard does not sit over a PCI slot on that board.

Just finished a build with this. Great case. I have my old system in a p180 (original version) and the cable management options in the 182 are really nice.

I'm really thinking of getting this case. The fact that it has 3 three-speed 120mm fans is a big plus all by itself. I just checked it out and there's a Microcenter not far from the meeting I'm going to Thursday evening. In fact, one month a year and a half ago they scheduled this meeting (professional programmers user group) at the Microcenter in Santa Clara. We actually met right in the store. On Thursday, I can drive over there, pick up the case and then go to the meeting in Milpitas. Of course, I'll call first to make sure they have the case.

So, I called the store and was told they are OOS. "Popular item." She said they'll get a shipment Tuesday, call then. I went back online to check the cost of shipping and instore pickup is an option, so I bought it with that, figuring it's up to them to get the stock in the store for me to pick it up! If they don't have it for me Thursday, I'll get it next month.

I'm wondering a few things, including whether I forfeit my deposit if my order is canceled by virtue of not picking up the item. I'm amazed at their 2 day time limit to pick up the order. I'm thinking that based on the above, my order is going to be cancelled due to the fact that the B&M store is OOS, currently. Oh well.

Since they were getting a shipment today, I ordered again a few hours before the order arrived. Then I called them and they said their were no P182s in the order and shortly after got another email saying they'd canceled my instore pickup order!

I guess I have to decide if I want to pay for shipping if I want the P182 now.
