P180 with Epox 9npa+ ultra question

Ive been debating getting the notorious p180 antec case. The only thing that concerns me is, my motherboard 24pin connector is in the upper left hand corner, to the left of the CPU. How exactly would you be able to reach that from the bottom of the case from the power supply? I have an antec tpii-550. Does anyone else have that same mobo and case? I just dont see it reaching. The power cable would have to go over the video card or any other pci cards to reach that I would think. Does that reach? Thanks.
 
Under the video card. The Antec's notoriously have pretty long cables. It is fine with the Phantom 500 so I would PRESUME it would be ok with yours. I think the measurements is >18" depending on where it is. I know for a fact my Seasonic I just ordered might not quite make it...but thankfully it has a 24 > 20 pin connector that adds 3-4 inches 😉
 
Yeah you see what I mean? The power cable is gonna have to like be pulled over the top of the pcie/pci cards and to the left of my XP-90 Heatsink to reach, or going to have to be routed around the left side of the motherboard and somehow under the video card which will take alot of slack...They do have extentions though?

Of course I have to pick the motherboard that has the worst 24 pin connector. Maybe I will just have to keep with my plus1080amg. My stuff is so crammed right now though. And loud as well, having only 80mm fans. I feel like a new case with some room. I dont know if this one is going to work though.
 
I have the 9NDA3+ (same ATX plug location) and I just ran the cable under the front of the AGP\PCI cards.
 
I personally wpould avaiod running the cable around the video card.....
Video cards tend to work themselves just loose enough that you will have to reseat it every so often.

I have seem builds where people have used extensions and routed the cord under the mobo and over the top dropping striaght down to your connector....

Yeah thats really the only other possibility. Any chance you can post some sites that have "extentions" for sale?. Ive been looking around, I havnt found any. Maybe im searching for the wrong thing.

Thanks man. That helps. Seems like that should work for me also then. My PSU is a antec tp-II 550 so...Similar mobo and psu. Thanks for the pic. 😛


Now to find the cheapest place without tax and low shipping for a P180. 🙂 LEt the shopping begin. I think ebuyer is the cheapest, but ill have to do some research.
