P180 Silence questions

What are these cases like for drowning out the sound from the fans? Im using a sonata 1 has anyone upgraded from this case to the P180? If so whats your thoughts? Also can you hear any vibrations?

Oh yeah 1 more thing how does this box look next to all black equipment? Does anyone have any photos side by side?

From what I understand....
The cases can only mask so much noise..
You really need to possibly be prepared to purchase new quieter fans or maybe a Fan speed controller.....

They make black P180s.
 
Thanks. I have silent fans. Silenx fan on the cpu, the exhaust fan is also silent plus the VF700 on the GTX but i can still hear them, Really id like to know if the p180 masks more noise than the sonata. My sonata has started to vibrate latley. I dont really understand why.
 
The only place i can find the black P180s are the SPCR editions which are only available in the US and Canada i dont belive they are available in europe.
 
i don't think it really makes that much difference. if there is no other sound in the room, I can hear the fan on my vga. The case does 0 to mask it. I'm using low db fans but compromise in cooling > I wouldn't have gone out of the way to do this if I knew the video card was going to be a problem.
 
My old theme is kinda black grey as I used to have the 1080 windowed case, black speakers, logitech MX700 mouse and keyboard, except my monitor was completely greyish colour so the switch for me to the p180 still kept to the theme and looked pretty good. Sorry I dont have any pics to post of my setup. Might take a pic of my current setup atm to give u a better idea of what I mean.

Noise wise, I'm using all stock fans and a panaflo92mm set on low for the CPU. I've also moved one of the exhaust to the front so the case is a tiny bit noisier than if I had left the fan in the stock position. All case fans has been set to low. With this setup the case is near silent. All u hear are the wooshin sounds of the fans.

Vibration wise, close to nil but my fans are still new so it might change as they get older. Vibration from hard drives, the silicon dampeners does and damn good job! I can feel the HDD vibrates if I place my hands on the HDD but it doesnt travel into the chassis.
