P180 PSU woes - 1 fan (bottom)? - 2 fan? - brand?

I've read EVERY P180 thread on the forum and still can't decide.

This is the impression I get from prior posts on PSUs for the P180:

-Enermax for its server length cables
-Antec (True power), cuz its gotta work with its own brand right?
-Coolermaster works too (the guy with the amazing wire hiding skills)

Also what about the single fan PSUs with a fan on the bottom? theres no room for it to get air?!?

I'm concerned about noise as well, so which of the compatible PSUs do you all think would the quitest?

thanks

Single fan PSU's with the fan on the bottom will get plenty of air. There's space beneath the PSU for the PSU to get air from. Also since the PSU is only cooling itself and possibly some hard drives it won't be needing a whole lot of airflow anyway.

I suggest checking out SPCR's forums.

you can get extexsion adapters for atx and 4pin cpu connectors...

I own a OCZ 520w Powerstream..the 4pin cpu connector is to short to go under the mobo but reaches fine over my pci/agp videocard

You can kit from performance-pc for atx and 4pin extension for $12.95 plus shipping

In my setup the atx connector is mid mobo on Neo2 Plat and it reaches fine with alot of extra cord...the 4pin is the only issue...

also nthe ocz 520 they have 2 special 4pin molex(extra shielding for hdd/vga and the PCI-e connector...these are really nice but stiff and my BFG 6800 OC get close to hdd cage but I can still use and hide the connector in the hdd cage

so get the psu you want and buy and extension if you want this case

I have used Antec support twice(blown psu after 2yrs and recent broken fan bracket)..very fast response and nice
