EDIT: ^^ Thread title. Changed from original thread.

I'll be moving to PCI Express, so I will get the DFI board. Now, which would run cooler, a stock P180, or the Centurion 532 with 2 x 40 CFM Real Silent Nexus intake fans and a Panaflo 80 CFM exhaust.

PIC

Would that cool better than the P180? Specs will be Opteron 146, 6800 GS w/ Zalman VF700-Cu, XP-90, 2 x 1GB OCZ 2-3-2-5.

I will remove the lower HD cage for more airflow.

*
20" cable for main 24-pin ATX connector
*
2 x 20" cable for heavy wrapped cable (flexible) with single 4-pin black connector marked VGA/HDD. These look as if they are off a separate line, but they are not. They are wired in parallel to the standard 12V and 5V lines.
*
18" cable w/AUX connector cable
* 26" cable w/dual-12V and quad-12V connectors
* 26" cable w/two SATA power connectors
* 2 x 36"cable w/three 4-pin connectors and one floppy drive connector

^^^Taken from SPCR's review. I think the 24/20 pin ATX will be long enough, but you might have to run it under your vid card as some have done. I forgot who posted a pic here at AT, but it can be done. They do make extensions for relatively cheap and you could use one if needed.

Look for the PC-7 Plus at performance-pcs.com and they'll add a 120mm blowhole for 20 bucks, allowing you room for three fans(!), which is better airflow than the V1000 when you think about it.

My guess is the P180 would be cooler.
