Ok got enough parts to start putting together, cant wait any longer

Have my P180 case, still waiting for my PS and DVD drive.

? installing the CPU and HS/FAN . Is it best to do this on mb and then install mb into case? in past i used to install MB in case and then mount cpu and then HS fan but this thing is HUGE and heavy so not sure if any issues.

Also for this P180 case, I have one WD4000 hd, which location would be best for it? bottom chamber or up top?

Fans? there is space for 2 more fans, a 120 up front and then this little 80 in the CPU Duct. Is it worthwhile to do one/both/neither? Any exp with that?

Think thats it for moment, hope the PS gets here soon and that Video card is friggin HUGE it weighs a ton. Cant beleive how much video card has changes since my last one (9700 AIW pro) oh any preference in what slot i put the video card? top or bottom?

thx for all the help

Kind of quiet here in C&C this AM.

I'm an all aluminum case type of guy but I will offer what little I can.

Go to silentpcreview.com > cases & damping at the bottom of the page are three P180 reviews. One goes into great detail about assembly.

it is best to install the cpu and HS before the mobo is in the case because the case has so little room to work with.

I find the best way for cable management is to install the hard drives in the bottom chamber, and it has a fan to cool the hd down there with.

It is best to get another fan for the front intake but the 80mm is worthless. I replaced all 4 of my 120mm fans and got WAY better temps, 10c drop in some cases.

what mobo do you have?

ok so thats what that is, so you dont use the normal old 4pin connectors for those drives? there is a normal 4 pin power connector on the HD. or does it matter ? i havent got the PS yet and i havent seen a new one in like 2 years so all new stuff to me
