Yeah...a lazy shrug and a face of indifference would be more accurate/appropriate.

I took the pikachu face as how they might act for the public optics as they try like hell to detach the two issues from one another.
 
I just watched the first question and all I saw was a liar and a man who was bringing facts. You guys are saying things get worse.
